Harden Python App Against Reverse-Engineering

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

I’m ready to move beyond basic protections and put my cross-platform Python application (Windows desktop and Raspberry Pi) through a true white-box security test. My main objectives are:

• See whether you can bypass the current access-control logic and gain unauthorized privileges.
• Break any encryption I’ve put around sensitive user data.
• Defeat the obfuscation layers and integrity checks I’ve added, showing me exactly where the weak points lie.

Once you succeed (or if you prove the existing controls hold), I need a clear, reproducible report that covers:

1. The exact steps, tooling, and scripts you used to reverse-engineer or tamper with the code.
2. Proof-of-concept exploits, demo videos or screenshots, plus any modified binaries/scripts.
3. Recommendations and sample patches—preferably illustrating stronger integrity-checking, better key management for encryption, and hard-to-diffuse obfuscation techniques (PyArmor, Cython compilation, signature verification, etc.).

Acceptance criteria
• At least one verifiable breach attempt documented end-to-end, or a justified explanation of why no breach was possible.
• A remediation plan I can apply and test to confirm the same attack vector no longer works.

I’ll handle deployment; you just need to deliver the exploit artifacts and the remediation blueprint. Looking forward to seeing how deep you can dig and how we can lock it all back down.
