Fix Spotify Mod Region Login Block
Budget: $10 – $50 USD
I have a pre-modded Spotify build that already strips ads and lets me skip tracks endlessly, but the moment I try to sign in with my U.S. account the app throws the exact error string “Invalid region.” I need the underlying regional check removed or bypassed so I can log in from the United States without losing the existing ad-blocking and unlimited-skip functionality.
You’ll be working with an APK you didn’t create, so the task calls for confident reverse-engineering: decompiling with apktool or Jadx, tracing the region gate in smali/Java, patching it, then rebuilding and signing the package. Please keep the current features intact and avoid triggering Spotify’s standard integrity checks; a clean login screen that accepts my credentials is the success signal.
Deliverable (by the end of this week):
• A rebuild of the modded APK that logs in successfully on a U.S. device
• A brief outline of the changes so I understand what was touched
Feel free to use whatever toolchain you prefer—apktool, smali/baksmali, Frida, etc.—as long as the final app installs and works on stock Android 14. If questions come up about device specifics, let me know early so we stay on schedule.
