I’m ready to bring a seasoned CodeIgniter developer onto our early-stage team right away. The role is strictly for someone based in Pakistan and pays 40,000 PKR per month on an ongoing basis.
What you’ll tackle first
• Build and refine user authentication (login, registration, password reset, roles).
• Optimise database management in MySQL, writing efficient queries and migrations that keep our data layer fast and secure.
• Plug in and test our chosen payment gateway so transactions run smoothly inside the platform.
Project context
We’re building a content management system and already have a detailed UI/UX design approved. Your job is to translate those screens into clean, maintainable CodeIgniter code, following MVC best practices and Git-based version control. You’ll work closely with our designer and product lead, pushing small, frequent updates that we can test quickly.
What I’m looking for
– Demonstrable expertise with CodeIgniter 3 or 4.
– Solid grasp of PHP OOP, RESTful APIs, and front-end integration (HTML, CSS, basic JS).
– Comfort working in a startup rhythm: quick iterations, clear communication, and self-managed problem-solving.
