Long-term REST API Integrator for Dynamic Citizen Development Platform
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
As a reseller of data management platforms, we are seeking a REST API developer for an ongoing, contractor-based role focused on various data integration projects.
Initial Task:
Your initial major task involves integrating our platform, which is equipped with CallURL functions, with Availity.com’s API—a prominent data warehouse specializing in health records.
Compensation Model: (NOT A MINI PROJECT but I had to pick something )
In this contractor position, compensation is based on the successful integration of each endpoint, defined as follows:
Endpoint Definition:
An endpoint in our data integration projects is defined as a single CallURL action that successfully triggers an external API call to a third-party service, such as Availity.com, and receives a valid data response. Each endpoint is a discrete unit of work and forms the basis for billing and developer compensation.
Components of an Endpoint:
1. CallURL Action:
A configured request sent from our platform to an external API, including necessary headers, query parameters, and endpoint URLs.
2. Successful Data Response: An endpoint is only considered successfully integrated if the API response is valid and contains the expected data, confirming the correct functioning of the CallURL action and the integrity of the data exchange.
Work Environment:
You will utilize your own test database, already configured for access token retrieval, to develop and implement custom integration solutions that meet specific client requirements. While you will receive initial guidance from our client manager, the majority of your work will be autonomous. Comprehensive documentation will be provided to support your development process.
