Legacy JSP-Struts Feature Expansion

Job ID: 40135959

Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR

Our enterprise web platform runs on a classic stack—JSP, Struts 1.x, and JBoss—and, despite its age, it remains mission-critical. I’m now adding entirely new capabilities rather than merely patching bugs or tuning performance.

Scope of the new work
• User interface: a fresh layout redesign, richer interactive elements, and better accessibility that meets current WCAG guidelines.
• Backend logic: new business workflows and data-processing modules written the Struts way, preserving existing conventions.
• External integrations: connectors to additional REST/SOAP services (and, where needed, JMS queues) packaged for smooth deployment on JBoss.

Typical workflow
I’ll provide the Git repository, database schema, and a staging JBoss instance. You develop in branches, commit well-commented code, and supply a runnable WAR/EAR for review. Clean JSPs, properly configured Struts actions/forms, and minimal impact on legacy pieces are essential.

Deliverables
- Updated JSP/Struts components implementing the requested features
- Revamped UI with documented accessibility checks
- New backend classes, configuration files, and integration stubs
- Build scripts and deployment package for JBoss
- Unit/integration tests plus a concise change log

Acceptance is based on the feature list above compiling and running error-free on my staging server, with UI changes matching the approved mock-ups and automated tests passing.

If you’re fluent in JSP, Struts, and JBoss, this should feel familiar; I’m ready to share the repository and start scheduling milestones.
