Laravel Travel Platform Enhancement

Job ID: 40048323

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I’m expanding our Laravel-based travel website and need an experienced developer who can take full ownership of three intertwined modules—Group Management, Travel Packages, and Booking Automation—so they feel native, fast, and easy for travellers and admins alike.

The current codebase runs on Laravel 10 with MySQL, Horizon, and a sprinkling of Livewire for reactive parts. You’ll be free to lean on those tools—or propose better ones—as long as the final result remains clean, test-covered, and scalable.

Scope of work
• Group Management: architect a system where users can create a group, invite fellow travellers, assign roles, and view shared itineraries. An admin back-office panel should allow me to monitor, edit, or merge groups without digging through the database.
• Travel Packages: build a flexible package engine that lets staff craft itineraries, set tiered pricing, add images, and push limited-time deals. Travellers must be able to browse, filter, and book packages with minimal clicks.
• Booking Automation: wire up confirmations, calendars, and payment gateways so the entire process—from selecting a package to receiving a voucher—happens automatically, with real-time inventory checks and tidy audit logs.

Deliverables
1. Fully documented Laravel code (controllers, models, migrations, tests) merged into our Git repository.
2. Vue or Blade views wired to Livewire (or your preferred reactive layer) for front-end interactions.
3. RESTful endpoints ready for future mobile consumption.
4. A short hand-off video or live walkthrough showing key flows and config areas.

Acceptance criteria
• All new features covered by PHPUnit or Pest tests (80 %+ coverage on touched code).
• Page loads under 2 s on a 100k-record seed database.
• No critical issues flagged by Laravel Pint, PHPStan (level 8), or OWASP ZAP.

If you’ve built similar SaaS-style modules in Laravel, link me to a repo or live demo in your proposal and outline a rough timeline. I’m ready to start as soon as we align on the technical approach.
