Full-Stack PHP App Enhancements

My production SaaS runs on a classic LAMP stack—PHP 8, Percona MySQL, Apache, plenty of xJavaScript and some modest HTML/CSS templating. It has been stable for years, but growth is finally exposing the cracks. I’m looking for a seasoned full-stack PHP developer who can slide straight into the codebase, tighten it up, and push the product forward.

The immediate mandate is to maintain and extend the existing application, not rebuild it. Three parallel tracks are in scope:

• Fix the bugs users keep reporting, from edge-case errors in the auth flow to UI glitches in older browsers.
• Improve performance, especially around heavy MySQL reads; query profiling and smart indexing in Percona will be critical.
• Add new features we’ve planned for months—robust user authentication with role management, interactive data-visualization dashboards (Chart.js or similar welcome), and clean, well-documented REST APIs so partners can integrate quickly.

Deliverables will be accepted when:
1. All critical and high-priority bugs in our tracker are closed with regression tests.
2. Page-load time on the main dashboard drops below two seconds under 500 concurrent users (measured with ApacheBench).
3. New auth module, visualization pages, and external API endpoints are merged into the main branch, passing our PHPUnit and Cypress suites and documented in the repo’s README.
