Express.js Engineer Required

** About the Role**
We’re looking for a skilled Express.js Engineer to join our backend development team. You’ll be responsible for building scalable APIs, integrating with modern frontend frameworks, and delivering high-quality backend solutions that power real-world applications.

**Responsibilities**
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs using Express.js
- Integrate backend services with Next.js frontend applications
- Collaborate via GitHub, with a strong understanding of branching, pull requests (PRs), and code reviews
- Design and document APIs using Swagger/OpenAPI
- Ensure code quality by following established coding standards and best practices
- Deploy and manage services using Render
- Work efficiently in VS Code as the primary development environment
- Integrate third-party services including Google, LinkedIn, and other social media platforms
- Implement and manage payment gateway integrations (e.g., Stripe, Razorpay)
- Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences
- Stay current with backend trends and continuously improve your skillset

** Requirements**
- Strong proficiency in Node.js and Express.js
- Experience with MongoDB and data modeling
- Familiarity with Next.js and frontend-backend integration
- Hands-on experience with Swagger for API documentation
- Solid understanding of REST principles, middleware, and error handling
- Experience integrating OAuth and social login flows (Google, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Knowledge of payment gateway APIs and transaction workflows
- Strong grasp of security best practices (authentication, validation, etc.)
- Experience building or contributing to chat applications is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

** Bonus Points **
- Experience with TypeScript
- Familiarity with real-time communication (e.g., WebSockets)
- Passion for clean code and continuous learning
