Project Description

We are looking for an experienced developer to build an internal AI-enabled Webex chatbot integrated with a PostgreSQL database.

The bot will be used internally by operations/business teams to retrieve order and KPI information through simple chat-based questions in Webex.

Project Scope

The bot should be capable of:

Integrating with Cisco Webex Teams/Chat
Connecting securely to a PostgreSQL database
Fetching real-time order data from DB tables
Understanding predefined user questions
Returning summarized analytics in chat format
Example User Queries
“What are today’s ABC orders?”
“Show monthly ABC order count”
“What is the order trend for the last 7 days?”
“How many completed orders today?”
“Show failed vs successful orders”
Expected Bot Responses

The bot should return:

Today’s order count
Monthly order totals
Weekly trends
Status-wise counts
Technology/business-specific order breakdowns
Tabular or formatted responses in Webex chat


Technical Requirements

Cisco Webex Bot Development
PostgreSQL Database Integration
Backend in Python preferred
REST API integration knowledge
Secure DB credential handling
Ability to deploy on Linux server/Docker is an advantage
