Web Weather App Development

Job ID: 39938442

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I’m putting together a lightweight, browser-based weather app that shows up-to-the-minute conditions pulled directly from the OpenWeatherMap API. The scope is purposely focused and should be quick for someone who is comfortable with REST calls and a clean front-end build:

• A single-page web interface that lets users type a city (or use geolocation if you prefer) and immediately see temperature, conditions, humidity, and an icon or brief description.
• All data must come from the OpenWeatherMap Current Weather endpoint; please keep the call structure well-commented so I can swap in my own API key later.
• Vanilla JavaScript, React, Vue, or Svelte are all fine—choose whichever will get the app running smoothly and responsively across modern browsers.
• Deliver the full, production-ready source (HTML/CSS/JS plus any build files) along with a short README explaining setup and how to change the API key.

Once I load the project and replace the key, entering any city in the search box should bring back accurate, real-time information with no console errors. That’s the acceptance test I’ll use to sign off.
