Scandit Integration with Custom Inventory DB – Web-based Multi-Code Scanner with Overlay UI

Project Description:
We are looking for a skilled developer who can help us integrate Scandit (Barcode/QR scanning SDK) into a mobile web-based interface, with live synchronization to our internal inventory database.

Scope of Work:
Platform Compatibility

The solution must work on mobile web browsers (Android and iOS).

No native app installation; login-based access preferred.

Scanning Requirements

Scan multiple barcodes/QR codes simultaneously in a single frame.

Each recognized code should return individual results, regardless of duplicates.

Include:

Code content

Relative size

Rotation angle

Position/coordinates on screen (bounding box or equivalent)

Data Binding & Overlay UI

For each recognized code:

Query our internal inventory DB/API (we will provide access).

Display matched URL, image, description, and/or contextual menu as an overlay UI on the scanned code.

Modes

Should function both in:

Live video mode

Snapshot (still image) mode

All recognition and overlay features must work identically in both modes.

Preferred Stack / Tools:
Scandit SDK for Web (preferred)

JavaScript / TypeScript

REST API integration

Optional: React, Vue, or any lightweight frontend framework

Deliverables:
Fully functional web-based POC (Proof of Concept)

Clean, modular source code

Integration guide / documentation
