React Security Dashboard Developer

What you'll work on
A React-based security dashboard: asset inventory, vulnerability triage, compliance mapping, executive reporting
Data-dense UI: tables, filters, charts (think analyst workflows, not marketing pages)
Consuming a FastAPI backend via REST, handling real-time-ish states (scan status, alerts)
Auth flows integrated with Clerk
Working closely with the founder to fix UX debt and ship a consistently designed, non-templated product
What we're looking for

2+ years professional experience with React (hooks-based, functional components)
Strong CSS/Tailwind skills — you should be able to build a clean, professional dashboard without a designer holding your hand
Comfortable with REST API integration, handling loading/error states properly (this is a security product — no fake data, no silent failures)

Experience with charting libraries (Recharts, Chart.js, D3, or similar)

An eye for information density and clarity — this product is used by security analysts triaging hundreds of findings, not casual consumers
Nice to have

Experience building or maintaining a B2B SaaS dashboard (not just landing pages)
Familiarity with role-based access control in frontend (showing/hiding actions by user role)

Basic understanding of security/compliance concepts (helps you understand why a screen needs to be honest about what's real vs. placeholder)
