Razorpay Orders API Shopify Integration

I need Razorpay’s Orders API wired directly into my Shopify storefront so every order placed on the site is created, tracked, updated, or cancelled in real time without manual intervention. The goal is a fully automated flow that starts when a customer hits “Pay now” and ends when the final payment status syncs back into Shopify’s admin.

Scope of work
• Connect my Shopify store to Razorpay via REST, using the recommended authentication and signature-verification steps.
• Programmatically create a Razorpay Order whenever a customer proceeds to checkout, pass the generated order_id to the front-end, and render Razorpay’s checkout as usual.
• On payment completion, retrieve and verify the payment signature, then update the Shopify order status accordingly (paid, failed, refunded, or cancelled).
• Expose endpoints or scripts that let me later query an order, refund it, or cancel it from Shopify while mirroring the change in Razorpay.
• Configure and test webhooks so that any status change triggered from Razorpay (refunds, partial captures, etc.) is instantly reflected in Shopify.

Deliverables
1. Clean, well-commented code (Liquid, JS, or Shopify App/Script) that implements the above endpoints and hooks.
2. A short README explaining installation steps, configuration of Razorpay keys, and webhook URLs.
3. A quick screen-share or video demo showing a live order flowing end-to-end.

Acceptance criteria
• New orders appear in both Shopify and the Razorpay dashboard with matching totals and metadata.
• Signature verification blocks any tampered response.
• Cancelling or refunding an order from either side keeps both systems in sync within a minute.

I will provide API keys, access to my development store, and test cards from Razorpay. Looking forward to working with someone who knows Razorpay, Shopify, and REST best practices inside out.
