Part-Time JavaScript Dev for Ongoing Maintenance

Looking for a Part-Time JavaScript Developer — Ongoing Bug Fixes & Maintenance
I am the founder of StructLearnPro (structlearnpro.com) — a live structural design learning platform for civil engineering students in India. The app is built and live with paying users. I am not a developer myself. I need one reliable developer who can understand the existing codebase and handle ongoing bug fixes, small improvements, and maintenance.
TECH STACK — WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript, HTML, CSS — no frameworks
• Backend: Supabase (PostgreSQL + Auth + REST API)
• Hosting & Deployment: Vercel (serverless functions)
• Payments: Razorpay (subscriptions + one-time orders)
• Email: Resend API
• No mobile app — web only
The app has two main parts:
1. StructLearnPro.html — a large self-contained iframe (~1.3MB) with all structural design calculations and UI built in vanilla JS
2. dashboard.html — the app shell handling auth, projects, payments, and user management
WHAT THE WORK INVOLVES
• Reading and understanding existing code written by someone else
• Fixing bugs when they are reported — UI issues, save/load problems, payment flow errors, database query issues
• Small feature additions — maybe 1 or 2 small things per month
• Reviewing code changes before they go live
• Responding when something breaks — not always an emergency but ideally within 24 hours
Estimated hours: 10 to 15 hours per month in normal months. More if something critical breaks.
WHO I AM LOOKING FOR
✔ 2 to 4 years of JavaScript experience
✔ Comfortable reading and working in someone else's codebase
✔ Experience with Supabase or any SQL database
✔ Has worked with REST APIs before
✔ Can work independently without needing daily hand-holding
✔ Communicates clearly — I am non-technical, so you need to explain things simply
✔ Available to respond within 24 hours when something breaks
Nice to have:
• Experience with Vercel or serverless deployments
• Has maintained a live product with real users before
WHAT I OFFER
• ₹8,000 to ₹15,000 per month for 10 to 15 hours (or ₹600 to ₹800 per hour on-demand)
• Fully remote and flexible hours
• Full access to the codebase and documentation
• Direct communication with the founder — no middlemen
• Long-term relationship if things work well
• Starts with a paid trial task before any commitment
