Mobile Motorcycle Safety Monitoring App
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a smartphone-first web application that lets companies actively promote and track motorcycle safety for employees who ride on and off the job. The entire interface should be optimised for mobile browsers or packaged as a PWA, so every feature must feel native on a phone screen.
Core workflow
• Employees sign up or sign in with a simple email-and-password flow; all subsequent sessions remain authenticated until they log out.
• Once logged in, the app starts real-time tracking of each trip (distance, speed, route), storing data in the back-end so managers can later view aggregated safety statistics.
• In-app safety tips and short training modules appear contextually—either after a ride or when a risky pattern is detected—to reinforce safe habits.
• Riders can submit an accident report on the spot, attaching photos, location and a brief narrative; the incident is time-stamped and forwarded to the company dashboard for follow-up.
Deliverables
1. Responsive mobile web front-end (React, Vue or similar) with intuitive touch UI
2. Secure RESTful API and database schema supporting trip logs, training content and incident records
3. Email-and-password authentication flow with password reset
4. Admin view (mobile friendly) to review analytics and accident reports
5. Deployment instructions and brief documentation so an in-house team can maintain the app moving forward
I’ll handle the training content; you focus on clean code, accuracy of tracking, and a smooth user experience. Let me know which framework you prefer and any questions you have about the data model so we can move quickly toward a functional prototype.
