Manufacturing Workflow Android App
Budget: ₹37,500 – ₹75,000 INR
I need an Android application that lets our manufacturing managers create, assign, and monitor shop-floor tasks from their phones, while giving employees a simple way to receive instructions and report progress in real time.
Core flow
• Managers open the app, create a job, set due dates or priorities, and assign it to one or more production-line employees.
• Employees instantly receive a push notification, see the new task in their queue, and update its status as they work.
• Each update triggers a progress notification back to the responsible manager so nothing falls through the cracks.
Key requirements
– Role-based access for both managers and employees.
– Instant notifications for new tasks and for every progress change.
– A clean dashboard summarising overdue, in-progress, and completed work.
– Offline data capture that syncs automatically when a connection returns (our shop floor can be patchy).
– Runs smoothly on standard Android 8.0+ devices already issued to the team.
Tech preferences
I’m comfortable with Firebase, a lightweight REST API, or any modern mobile stack you recommend—provided the solution is easy for us to maintain in-house after hand-over and doesn’t require paid third-party licences.
