KYC Platform Backend Engineer (Node.js / TypeScript) – Compliance Systems (USA LLC)

We operate KYCgini, a production-ready KYC / AML compliance platform owned and operated by a USA-registered LLC.

The system includes:

Live admin and client dashboard (React / Vite)

Working Node.js + TypeScript backend

Solana wallet integration for identity-linked compliance flows

This is not an idea, MVP, or greenfield build.
You will work on an existing, functional compliance system to finish, stabilize, and maintain it under a US compliance and operating framework.

Responsibilities (Immediate and Ongoing)
Backend (Primary)

Maintain and extend existing Node.js / TypeScript backend

Fix bugs and edge cases in KYC flows:

User onboarding

Document verification

Risk scoring

Audit logging

Integrate and maintain sanctions / PEP screening APIs

Improve system stability, logging, and error handling

Follow existing architecture and compliance patterns
(No rewrites, no framework changes)

Crypto / Wallet

Maintain Solana wallet verification flows

Handle:

RPC calls

Wallet signature validation

Wallet usage is strictly for compliance context, not trading

Frontend (Secondary)

Integrate backend APIs with existing React dashboard

Fix functional issues only (no redesign work)

Tech Stack

Backend: Node.js, TypeScript, REST APIs, JWT

Compliance: Audit trails, KYC lifecycle, risk scoring

Blockchain: Solana RPC, wallet signature verification

Infrastructure: Render.com, environment-based configuration

Frontend: React (existing codebase only)

Working Terms (Very Clear)

4 hours daily

$300 per month

Initial period: 3–6 months

Compensation revision strictly based on work quality and output

Contract role only (no equity, no co-founder discussions)

Must-Have Requirements

Strong Node.js + TypeScript backend experience

Comfortable maintaining and improving existing production code

Understanding of KYC / compliance fundamentals:

Audit logging

Data integrity

Basic blockchain interaction experience (RPC calls, wallet verification)

Ability to work independently without hand-holding

Willing to commit 4 hours daily at the stated budget

Comfortable working with a US-based company and compliance expectations

Nice-to-Have

Prior KYC / AML / fintech systems experience

Solana web3.js experience

React API integration experience

Security or compliance exposure

Not a token, DeFi, or NFT project

Not frontend-only

Not a system rewrite

Not full-time
