Fork & Upgrade Spyne.ai Platform
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
I need you to take the open-source Spyne.ai codebase, create a clean fork, and evolve it into a polished, professional-grade product. The first focus is a corporate-style interface: re-organise the current screens, introduce a modern, consistent design system, and slot in any new components that improve overall usability. I already have a mood-board and colour palette that fit a professional, trustworthy feel; you will translate those into the layout while keeping performance fast and responsive.
Behind the scenes, several workflow improvements are waiting. I’ll share a shortlist of features that require new endpoints and small refactors, so expect to touch the backend as well as the UI. Clean code, tests, and concise documentation are all part of the job.
Finally, the fork must talk smoothly with a couple of external services via their REST APIs—nothing exotic, but the integration needs to be fault-tolerant and clearly documented.
Deliverables
• A Git repository with the full fork and commit history
• Refactored backend code and tests for the added endpoints
• Re-designed, corporate-style frontend components (React)
• Integration modules for the external services, with config samples
• A short README covering build, deploy, and integration steps
Acceptance criteria
• All existing Spyne.ai functionality remains intact
• New UI matches supplied corporate guidelines and passes a quick UX walkthrough
• API integrations return the expected responses under load tests
• Project builds cleanly with a one-command setup on a fresh machine
If this sounds straightforward to you and you have experience slicing both front- and back-end work, let’s get started right away.
