Flight Booking implementation

Job ID: 40419100

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I already have a live PHP website, a fully-commented flight-booking codebase, and an active API token. What I now need is a seamless integration so visitors can interact with that engine on the front end.

The job centres on three customer-facing actions:
• Search flights
• Book flights
• View booking history

Your mission is to wire the existing code into my back-end, expose the necessary endpoints, and then craft clean, responsive pages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript or a lightweight framework of your choice) that present those three functions clearly. Smooth session handling, error messaging, and a simple “My Trips” dashboard are essential.

I value proven experience with PHP integrations, REST/JSON APIs, and payment/booking flows. If you’ve tackled airline or travel APIs before, highlight that briefly when you respond.

Deliverables
1. Updated PHP controllers/services fully connected to the flight API and tested.
2. Front-end pages for search, booking, and history, matching the site’s current style.
3. Database tweaks or new tables (if required) to store user itineraries securely.
4. A short setup document so I can reproduce the install on staging.

Acceptance Criteria
• A user can search, select, and complete a booking without console errors.
• Confirmations appear in the “My Trips” section and persist after refresh.
• All sensitive keys stay in env/config files, not in public code.

The sooner we can push to staging, the better, so let me know your estimated timeline along with a couple of links that show similar integrations you’ve delivered.
