Seeking an experienced Java Developer with strong expertise in designing, building, and securing RESTful APIs. The ideal candidate has hands-on knowledge of OWASP API Security best practices and proven experience building enterprise-grade Java applications with secure, scalable, and maintainable architectures.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and RESTful APIs
• Implement OWASP API Security controls to protect against top risks, including injection, broken authentication, excessive data exposure, and insufficient logging
• Conduct secure code reviews and apply secure coding patterns throughout the development lifecycle
• Integrate identity and access management technologies (OAuth2, JWT, SSO) into API solutions
• Perform threat modeling, risk assessments, and security testing for APIs
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to enforce secure build and deployment pipelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, security, and reliability issues
