Enhance WordPress User Interaction

I have a live WordPress site that looks fine, but its Functionality—specifically the User interaction features—needs a serious upgrade. I’m thinking along the lines of richer engagement tools such as improved commenting, social-login or profile features, real-time chat/message components, or any other interactive elements you feel will keep visitors on the page longer and encourage repeat visits.

Here’s what I need from you:
• Audit the current theme, plugins, and custom code to pinpoint where interaction can be streamlined or extended.
• Propose and then implement the best-fit solution—whether that’s configuring an existing plugin, tailoring a bit of PHP/JavaScript, or creating light custom code—while keeping the admin interface intuitive.
• Optimise whatever you build so it loads quickly and doesn’t bloat the site.
• Provide a short hand-off guide so I can maintain these new features without breaking anything.

You’ll be working in a staging environment first; once everything is tested and I sign off, we’ll push to production.

If you’re confident with WordPress hooks, REST API, and front-end JavaScript (React or vanilla) and have a portfolio that shows similar interaction upgrades, I’d love to see it.
