Django Nursery & School App
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I am rolling out a dedicated mobile application for nurseries and primary schools and I need the whole solution to be driven by Django. The key point is that every user-facing feature—whether it eventually ships on iOS, Android, or both—must talk to a clean, well-documented Django back-end that you build.
Here is how I picture the collaboration:
• Architecture
– Django 4.x (or latest stable) as the core back-end, with REST or GraphQL endpoints.
– Secure authentication (parents, teachers, admin) and role-based access baked in from the start.
• Mobile front-end
– You are free to choose React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift, or any other framework you are comfortable with, as long as it integrates smoothly with the Django API.
– The UI should remain intuitive and child-centred; I will supply brand colours and wireframes once we begin.
• Deliverables
– Full Django project with migrations, requirements.txt, and unit tests.
– Mobile source code, build instructions, and two signed test builds.
– A concise deployment guide for both the back-end (Docker or bare metal) and the apps (TestFlight / Google Play Console).
I am happy to refine the sprint plan together, but the Django foundation is non-negotiable. If you have shipped at least one Django-powered mobile project before, let’s talk—please share a short note on your approach and a link to a live example or repository.
