We are looking for assistance in grant writing for the “Canada Council Explore and Create” as well as the “Arts Abroad” Grant.
Canadian Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Michael Friedman and his band comprising of 3 of Canada’s top musicians has been invited to present an evening of his original compositions with the Berlin Konzertchor (Berlin Concert Choir), Primaner Youth Choir, Children’s Choir and the Berlin Konzerthaus Orchestra (approximately 65 musicians and 250 choir voices) at the prestigious Berlin Konzerthaus on October 17, 2023. We are seeking Canada Council assistance in defraying the cost of participating in and documenting the evening’s performance.
A large portion of the funding we are seeking is for orchestral and choral arrangement of twelve songs, ten of which are Michael Friedman’s originals,. We also intend to film and record the concert. Further funding is required for travel, per dien, accommodations, and transportation.
