Workers Compensation Research
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have been tasked with making 2 presentations on workers compensation laws. One presentation will be given to construction professionals in the state of Massachusetts; and the other to construction professionals in the state of Rhode Island.
What we need a freelancer to do is research workers compensation laws in each state; and create a document for each state which consists of 30 questions, and 30 answers, (60 questions total). The questions should be relevant to the rules and laws of that specific state.
The questions we would be looking for, would be questions pertinent to a construction worker, and a construction company owner. Questions such as:
How long do I have to report an injury?
How long after being injured can I file a claim?
How many days do I need to be out of work in order to file a claim?
Can I appeal if my claim is rejected?
I am a sole proprietor, do I need to Carry workers compensation insurance?
The answers are different from Rhode Island to Massachusetts. Therefore, once again, we need 2 documents; 30 questions each, one for each state. we want this in a word document.
