This project is only for qualified veterinary doctors or certified dog trainers. I manage Puppadogs.com, a growing reference site for dog owners, and I want every article to reflect current veterinary consensus while still feeling friendly and easy to follow.
The job is straightforward: you will enter the site’s CMS, open assigned posts, and edit them directly so that the live version meets three standards at once—solid scientific accuracy, smooth readability for the average pet parent, and complete coverage of the topic.
Content scope
• Nutrition & diet pieces (e.g., homemade-food safety, supplement use)
• Common diseases and their treatments (symptom lists, prognosis, medication guidance)
• Behaviour and training advice (from puppy socialisation to anxiety management)
What you’ll actually do
1. Verify facts against recognised veterinary literature or peer-reviewed sources.
2. Restructure or rewrite sentences where needed so lay readers can grasp them quickly.
3. Flag gaps in information and fill them with up-to-date data or practical tips.
4. Save changes in the post editor, using in-line comments only when an explanation is essential.
Acceptance criteria
• Every medical statement is backed by a reputable citation.
• Flesch Reading Ease score sits in the “easy to read” range after edits.
• No critical sub-topic is missing when compared with leading veterinary handbooks.
• Change history is clean and traceable through the CMS revision log.
