Usher Syndrome Awareness Project -- 2
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
For this project, I am seeking an expert in public health communication with proof of experience in awareness raising. You need an in-depth understanding of how to present medical content in an easy-to-understand format. Some background knowledge of Usher syndrome or similar conditions would be beneficial.
Key Tasks:
- Research and compile comprehensive information about Usher syndrome in a simple, easy-to-understand manner.
- Develop content schedules for public workshops and events.
Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in medical research.
- Proficiency in health communication.
A major part of this role will be presenting the collected information to public audiences. The primary goal is to increase knowledge and understanding of Usher syndrome. To achieve this, we envision holding public events and workshops. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing content and leading these initiatives.
Experience in leading public events, or workshops is a definite advantage. A deep understanding of how to reach audiences and effectively communicate medical information is crucial.
The objective is not only to educate, but to foster an empathetic understanding of Usher syndrome and the challenges that afflicted individuals face daily.
