Urban Biodiversity Exploration: Household Gardens

I'm looking for a researcher who can explore the biodiversity in household gardens within urban settings. The primary goal is to document species diversity and understand the ecological impacts of these small green spaces.

Key Areas of Focus:
- Investigating the 'wildness' in gardens and the presence of more green
- Assessing the effects of pollution, habitat fragmentation, and invasive species on these gardens
- Understanding how household gardens contribute to species diversity and urban ecology
- How can we let people make their gardens more diverse to contribute to more biodiversity? How can they let their town grow 'wilder' but still acceptable.

Ideal Skills:
- Experience in ecological research and biodiversity studies
- Design background
- Strong observational skills to assess and document garden 'wildness'
- Ability to analyze and interpret ecological impacts of urban settings

The scope of this project will not only contribute to our understanding of urban biodiversity but may also inform future conservation strategies.

Research will contribute to a research and design project where i will create a concept on how to motivate people and create awareness. Having a design background is a big + as well so we speak the same language
