Center for ASEAN-Indian Studies at Institution of Foreign Affairs and National Security is seeking dedicated South Asian journalists or scholars to conduct research on the political, economic and security dynamics in the Bay of Bengal region, focusing on the latest developments in Bangladesh, Bhutan, Myanmar, Northeast India and Sri Lanka. The primary emphasis will be on the situation in Bhutan.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth research and analysis on political, economic and security developments in the Bay of Bengal region.
Provide insights and perspectives on the evolving dynamics within the region.
Produce well-researched reports and articles based on latest developments.
Qualifications:
Bangladeshi, Bhutanese(preferred), Indian or Sri Lankan nationality.
Familiarity with the political, economic and security landscape of the Bay of Bengal countries, especially Bhutan.
Excellent networking skills, capable of connecting with first-hand sources to enhance research materials.
Background in journalism, political science, international relations, government institutions, or related fields.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
