Research the viability of our product on Amazon

We are a small company that sells one type of product via Shopify. We are considering the possibility of exploring selling on Amazon, and would like to have product viability research done to discover if there is any opportunity to profit off of this sales avenue. We would like as much relevant information as possible reported such as competition, sales, etc, so that we can make a determination as to whether it would be profitable to proceed through the process of integrating our current Shopify store with Amazon, creating listings, etc.
