Research and lead generation for mental health program in mining and energy sector
Budget: $25 – $50 AUD
BlackDog Green is a start-up social enterprise delivering unique mental health literacy and personal development programs. Our innovative approach uses fun and insightful dog analogies, creative facilitation processes and nature-based expeditions to break down stigmas, increase self awareness and open up candid communication about mental wellbeing.
We are looking to quantify a new program to be delivered to the mining and energy sector in Australia.
A detailed proposal will be supplied to shortlisted candidates to gain deeper insight into the program, processes and outcomes. Business plan and value proposition will also be forwarded. Some general information about our other programs and unique approach can be found at www.blackdoggreen.com.au
I am looking for someone to research current and trending mental wellbeing programs within the mining and energy sectors. This particular program is currently targeted at men only.
We are looking to obtain leads within two mining/energy companies who are responsive to running pilot programs. We currently have a lead with a major energy company which will require nurturing.
Research will include (but open to suggestions):
- Current mental health programs / organisations (I have a list already)
- Research into cost of these programs and summarised competitor analysis. (Note: most current services are NFP or Charities. We will be competing in the sector as a Social Enterprise)
- Best methodologies for engaging men for mental wellbeing literacy, retention and action - online / booklets / videos VS in-person workshops (visual, auditory, reading and writing, VS kinesthetic)
- Current procurement practices within the mining industry for mental wellbeing support.
- Research and discussion with State Government, Mining Industry Associations, an other appropriate organisations to determine:
- Policies for improving mental health in the workforce (mining & construction)
- Which mining / energy company would be most open to innovative mental wellbeing initiatives
- Contact details of relevant OHS / Mental Health Coordinator
- Introduction to this person on behalf of Govt, Association or Organisation.
- Possible partnership opportunities
Shortlisted candidates will be required to discuss their ideas for obtaining the research, as well as showing understanding of our methodologies via an Zoom interview process.
A one-off contract of $45 will be issued to each of the shortlisted candidates for this interview.
As mentioned, BlackDog Green is a start-up... or pup as we call it... our funds (kibble) is limited so I'm open to discussions about the above research topics to help quantify the program with minimal outlay.
Have a pawsome day!
