Research award flights to india
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
My objective, in order of importance:
1. Find flight from BLR between Nov 25 and Dec 1 to SFO or SJC or OAK
2. Find flight from SFO or SJC or OAK between Nov 1 and Nov 10 to BLR or DEL
3. Find flight from SFO or SJC or OAK between Sep 20 and Oct 10 to a major European airport (preferred are CDG, MXP, VCE, BLQ, FCO, SVG, OSL, LHR, ZRH, GVA, LUG, ATH, SKG, AMS, BCN, MAD, but others may also work)
4. Find flight from one of the above European airport (most preferred would be PAR or CDG or BCN or MAD or MXP or VCE or BLQ or FCO or SVG or OSL or ZRH or GVA) between Nov 5 and Nov 15 to BLR
Here are the parameters:
1. Flights must be business class, at least 2/3 of the journey must be in Business class.
2. Flight must be bookable with airline miles, or at least upgrade from ecnomy to business using miles. Other taxes and fees are fine, if they don't exceed $900 at the most (preferred is fees under $100).
3. No more than 2 stop-overs for each trip. And each journey must be under single ticket.
I have miles/points across multiple platforms, so almost any airline will do.
Suggested ones to try first:
American and all others affiliated with American
United and all others affiliated with United
Qatar
Emirates
Etihad
KLM and/or Air France
Avianca
Many many more
This job will require the following:
- Heavy web research, on many individual airline and airline-partner websites.
- Calling individual airlines to ask for availability.
- Making a clear document (spreadsheet or doc) notating the results.
I expect this task to take quite some time. Better if someone has experience doing this kind of work, but can also learn on the job.
I will create a few milestones:
1. Demonstrate ability to do this work in detail by providing detailed results for 1st requested flight.
2. Around a 50% mark, when about half work done.
3. Final done.
Upon reward of contract, I will provide Google sheet/doc required to notate.
If required, I will also provide a US phone number to use to call airlines.
I also have an ExpertFlyer account you can (and probably should) use to find award flights. On this site, you'll notice flights listed with open seating which do not show up on the airline's website. When these are found, the main part of this job, for example, is to call the airlines and find out if these flights exist.
Last requirement is to keep up with frequent communication with me, to clarify requirements as we go along.
If you can successfully do this project, something of this complexity, I will have more work for you in the future, if you wish.
