The Challenges Faced by Family Businesses in Mexico and How To Overcome Them
1. -Literature Review – Introduction (250 words):
Explain the introduction to the scope of the literature review, rationalism for the chosen topic, and wider point of reference, and mention models and concepts that are relevant to the topic. The literature review could first define the term “family business”.
1.1 -Literature Review – Main Body (1,500 words):
Clear structure, flow into a logical progression, the review must convey the student’s thinking, the review should synthesize, critique, and/or include seminal works and models. Identify and explain the literature gap, use up-to date secondary sources and good quality, Harvard format citation, and have an adequate number of academic journals used. The literature review should include a few models of family businesses, discuss the different types of businesses, and then discuss the variety of challenges of family businesses. This can be done using studies from around the world. You could then focus on family businesses in Mexico and if you find any studies based in Mexico, they would be included here
1.2 -Literature Review – Conclusion (250 words):
A clear concluding statement, clear implication for further research, research questions should be re-examined, include emergent themes and the review should be conclusive.
2. Research Design and Scope – Introduction (300 words):
The overall context for the research should be well established, explain the purpose adequately, make clear what aspects of the topic will be researched, do the boundaries of the research, present in a focused and relevant way the questions and objectives,
2.1 Research Methodology (1,300 words)
Follow a logical and cohesive structure using “Saunders Research Onion”, define and classify the data types, use target populations, defined samples and justify.
2.2 Data analysis (200 words)
Link the literature review with the research questions and specify data analysis methods.
2.3 Ethics, Values, Referencing and Presentation
Discuss ethical issues, make a clear understanding of the value added of this study , proper Harvard referencing format, include pages when referencing and present a time plan for this research in Gantt chart format.
