This project is only open to applicants who live in or near Iloilo City, Philippines.
I periodically visit the Philippines and like to tour museums and historic homes while there. I think I have visited about half of the provinces in the Visayas over the years and will be back there in about 6 weeks for another visit.
I am interested in the the Don Joaquin Ledesma Mansion in Iloilo (Jaro). I cannot find any public listing for the property online, but I just learned that the house was up for sale in 2020. I am unable to find any definitive information on whether the house sold, but it doesn't look like it has sold.
The Ledesma mansion is located on Plaza Rizal St across from the southeast corner of Jaro Plaza. The person taking this project will need to go to the property and collect some information. A recent photo of the property is attached.
Information to gather:
1. Is the house still for sale? If so, what is the asking price?
2. Whether or not the house is for sale, the owners periodically allow visitors to tour the property. I am interested in touring this historic home. Is it possible to arrange a tour? If so, note tour price (used to be 300PHP/group) and contact name/number for arranging a tour as well as any other pertinent details (e.g., if tours are only available on a particular day of the week, etc.).
The final deliverable of this project is to take a photo of yourself with the house clearly visible in the background and upload it to freelancer, to prove that you truly visited the property. Make a dedicated effort to collect the requested information, but in the event that you make every effort to collect the information above but are unable to obtain it, this photo serves as evidence that you made a good-faith effort to collect the required information.
