Quantile Regression Modelling and Writeup Expert Needed -- 2
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
I seek a freelancer skilled in research writing, literature surveys, and the precise scientific presentation of ideas for my project titled “Applications of Quantile Regression in Studying Gender Wage Gap in India.” This project requires the completion of two scientifically written chapters: Chapter 1 - Introduction and Literature Review (approximately 40-50 pages) and Chapter 2 - Methodology (approximately 25 pages), excluding bibliography. The focus is on statistical analysis rather than socioeconomic aspects. The quantile regression-based models that need to be focused are:
i. Conditional Quantile Regression for wage or gender wage gap Analysis and Quantile Regression-Based Decompositions, namely Machado-Mata Decomposition, Melly's Modification of Machado-Mata Decomposition
ii. Unconditional Quantile Regression (or Recentered Influence Function) for wage or gender wage gap analysis and Unconditional Quantile Regression decomposition such as Oaxaca-Blinder Decomposition using Recentered Influence Function and other(s).
iii. Sample Selection Adjustment in both the conditional and unconditional quantile regression for wage or gender wage gap analysis
iv. Comparison between the above methodologies and any other quantile regression methodology modifications for wage or gender wage gap analysis
v. Use of Instrumental Variable approach for wage or gender wage gap analysis
It should be a methodology-focused introduction and literature review. The literature review will be done from the latest to the oldest, covering research papers, chapters, and books written thematically and focusing on the Indian sub-continent for wage analysis works. The research gap will be determined in the context of already done work in India for wage gap analysis. Chapter 2 (Methodology) can be done from the papers included in the literature review. For the literature review, I already have 15-20 research papers covering the abovementioned themes. Those can be included, and making them a base of the literature review, the latest papers could be added. There is no need for you to access paid research papers. Inform me of the paper, and I will download it; if not, I will skip that paper.
Formatting: A4 sheet with 1.5 line spacing, Times New Roman 12 font, and a Turnitin Similarity Score of less than 10% (excluding bibliography)
Deadline: It needs to be done by June so revisions can start based on my supervisor’s review.
Price: I hope to keep it as low as possible since I will also work and help alongside as much as possible, and deadlines can be flexible.
