Pure Tone Audiometry Testing Project
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We're seeking native English speakers residing in New York State for a project. Participants should either have no eye correction or be comfortable using contact lenses. Surgical corrections like LASIK are also acceptable.
We are offering free pure-tone audiometry tests (a type of hearing test) to 100 people. If you answer yes to any of the following questions, please reach out.
-Do you ever wonder if you have a hearing problem and would like to get tested for free?
-Have you been told in the past that you do have a hearing problem and would like to get an updated hearing test for free?
-Do you find yourself asking others to repeat themselves often, been in the front-row of many concerts, work around loud noises like airplanes, construction, manufacturing, entertainment with amplified music etc.?
-Do you feel that hearing problems are negatively impacting your life?
