PhD dissertation with a focus on Smart Mobility Governances readiness in Riyadh Aligned with Vision 2030
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am currently pursuing a PhD with a focus on Smart Mobility Governances readiness in Riyadh Aligned with Vision 2030. I am seeking a qualified academic collaborator or research assistant to support this work,
The specific problem
The specific problem is that there is no empirically validated quantitative model that explains how different dimensions of governance readiness—including policy and regulatory support, resource availability and institutional capacity—are related to the integration of smart mobility solutions in Riyadh (evidence for this)
Research Objectives
In line with the purpose of the study, the following research objectives are:
RO1: To assess the level of governance readiness for smart mobility in Riyadh in terms of policy and regulatory support, resource availability and institutional capacity.
RO2: To measure the level of smart mobility integration in Riyadh from the perspective of key institutional stakeholders.
RO3: To examine the direct relationships between governance readiness dimensions (policy and regulatory support, resource availability, institutional capacity) and smart mobility integration.
RO4: To investigate the mediating role of stakeholder collaboration in the relationships between governance readiness dimensions and smart mobility integration.
RO5: To investigate the moderating role of technology readiness on the relationships between governance readiness dimensions and smart mobility integration.
RO6: To develop and empirically validate a governance readiness model for smart mobility integration in Riyadh that is aligned with the mobility-related objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
Please clearly identify the dependent variable, independent variables, mediator, and moderator for your study. Developing a conceptual framework will enable you to determine and structure these variables appropriately. The research objectives and research questions must be aligned with the proposed conceptual framework. Additionally, the formulation of the conceptual framework should be grounded in prior empirical studies and supported by relevant theoretical foundations
RO1 – relationship between independent variables and dependent variables.
RO2 - relationship between independent variables and mediator
RO3 - relationship between mediator and dependent variable
RO4 – mediating effect between independent variables and dependent variables
RO5 – moderating effect between variables (if any)
Based on the above objectives I can conclude that:
Dependent variable – smart mobility integration
Independent variable – policy and regulatory support
- Resource availability
- Institutional capacity
Mediator – stakeholder collaboration
Moderator – technology readiness
Please identify suitable theories to develop your conceptual framework. Show theoretical contribution and clear research gap in designing your conceptual framework.
