Peace Through Cultural Understanding Presentation
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I need a slide presentation aimed at undergraduate students on the theme of "Cultural Understanding as a Pathway to Peace."
The presentation should be engaging, informative, and thought-provoking, highlighting the importance of cultural understanding in promoting peace. It should include real-world examples, case studies, and actionable insights.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in peace studies, cultural studies, or a related field
- Experience creating engaging slide presentations
- Ability to distill complex concepts into accessible content for undergraduate students
- Excellent research and writing skills
Prompt: Which is foundational in the path to peace? International law Including institutions and treaties), economic development (including access to resources), or cultural understanding
• An introduction with thesis statement (this is the perspective you are representing in the debate, my topic is Cultural understanding being foundational in the path to peace)

1. Timing - try not to go over the 10 minutes time limit, though an extra 2 or 3 minutes is permitted for any short video clips.
2. Thesis or key argument - this is the perspective you are representing in the debate. Restating it in the conclusion helps to reinforce the thesis.
3. Aim for clarity & coherence - in such a short delivery it is important to think of your audience understanding what you wish to communicate. Thus be clear in your content and structure, as well as coherent and engaging in your communication skills.
4. Research - make sure we can see that you have done research, and include a reference list at the end that lists in alphabetical order the sources you cite in the slides. Use APA Q & A - try to deal well with questions from the moderator and the audience, and engage in discussion - even asking questions of your own to enhance dialogue within the debate.
Your task in presenting a perspective is to research and present the point of view expressed. You may, in the end after your research, disagree or partly agree with the perspective, and you may say this. You may realise this as a result of the panel discussion (mutual learning, reaching a common understanding). But your main mission is to present the perspective in a well- researched manner. Presentation time is approximately 10 minutes with extra time allowance for any short video clips.
