the study revolves around literature that discusses different strategies of managing patients with Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus from the less invasive such as 1 day Lumbar Tap to putting a Lumbar drain/external drain for a couple of days which eventually leads to the insertion of an internal shunt. It will discuss the effectiveness of the methods with its underlying complications.

There is a primary patient named Patient X (confidentiality clause cited from UK Nursing Midwifery Council: The Code); the patient background is that he is a 74year old man who experienced cognitive decline, balance and fall issues with incontinence and headaches he was seen and tests were done later diagnosed with Normal Pressure Hydrochephalus and was fitted with a lumbar drain. symptoms improved and he was discharged after a week.
