New Car Taxes and Duties (National, by Country)
Budget: £1,500 – £3,000 GBP
We are looking for an international tax specialist who can conduct comprehensive research on passenger car and commercial vehicle taxes and duties regulations across Central and Eastern Europe. Once comple, to expand globally (eventually, to 50 countries).
The main objective of this project is to identify the specific regulations and requirements related to car import taxes, sales taxes (eg: VAT) and import/ other duties payable - in different national markets.
We needd a database listing retail prices (payable in the showroom) and tax-free prices (that car manufacturers charge to dealers before any national taxes or duties).
The ideal candidate should have the ability to conduct global research, as fifty or more countries may be included now and in the future (with monthly updates).
The deliverable for this project is a detailed report that provides a comprehensive overview of the car tax and duty regulations in each country specified.
The report should include information on the different taxes and duties applicable to various types of vehicle (passenger vs commercial), as well as any tax or duty exemptions or incentives that may be available (for exapmple electric cars, taxi use...).
To successfully complete this project, the freelancer should have:
- Knowledge of Car Tax and Duty regulations that can be used internationally
- Strong research skills, accuracy to detail, ability to find reliable data sources
- Experience in conducting market research and analysis reports
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written (Excel) and verbal (Teams)
We need ALL Car Makes and Models - spproximately:
60x vehicle makes (Abarth - Volvo)
1,500x models (595-XC90)
10,000x different versions (Petrol, Diesel, Plug-In, Electric, Manual, Auto...)
This is potentially a long term project with an ongoing requirement to update the taxes, duties and retail prices for the target national markets.
The data needs to be accurate, complete and up to date (with monthly updates).
