Project Description:
We are looking for a reliable freelancer with experience in motorcycle spare parts, brake pads, product databases, or technical cross-reference research.

We have an internal Excel file containing a motorcycle brake pad cross-reference table. The file will not be published publicly and will be shared privately only with the selected freelancer.

The Excel file currently contains:

1 worksheet
280 internal product codes
10 columns total
1 column with our internal product codes
9 columns with competitor / aftermarket cross-reference codes

The main task is to complete and verify the missing cross-reference data.

One of the cross-reference columns is currently completely empty and contains 280 missing references, so this will be the main priority. There are also other missing values in the remaining columns.

What we need from the freelancer:

Complete the missing cross-reference codes where reliable data is available.
Give priority to the column that is currently completely empty.
Verify the existing cross-references already present in the file.
Complete missing references in the other columns when possible.
Do not invent, assume, or guess any reference code.
If a cross-reference cannot be found from reliable sources, leave the cell blank and add a note such as “not found” or “not confirmed”.
Keep our internal product codes unchanged.
Keep the Excel structure clean and easy to read.
Add a separate “Notes / Sources” column or sheet indicating where the information was found, especially for newly added or uncertain references.
Use reliable sources only, such as official catalogues, manufacturer websites, technical catalogues, or verified spare parts databases.
The final file must be delivered in Excel format.

Important requirements:

This is not a simple copy-paste job.
Accuracy is more important than speed.
Wrong cross-reference data can create commercial and technical problems, so precision is essential.
The freelancer must have experience or confidence in working with motorcycle brake pad references.
The freelancer must not modify our internal product codes.
The freelancer must not publish, share, upload, or reuse our file or data publicly.
The freelancer must be able to document the sources used for the research.

Before starting the full job, we require a short test:

Please complete a sample of 10 internal product codes first.
We will review the quality of the work before proceeding with the full project.

Preferred freelancer profile:

Experience with motorcycle spare parts catalogues
Experience with brake pad or automotive/motorcycle cross-reference tables
Good Excel skills
Careful, precise, and methodical approach
Able to provide sources or notes for the data found
No automatic AI-generated or guessed data

Expected final deliverables:

Completed Excel file
Highlighted cells where new data was added
Notes / sources for the references found
List of codes where no reliable cross-reference was found
Short summary of the work completed
