Mandarin Wildlife Conservation Stories
Budget: $750 – $1,500 SGD
I’m launching a Mandarin-language blog that gives readers a front-row seat to wildlife conservation through the voices of the people living beside the forests, rivers, and reefs they protect. For each article, I need a compelling, conversational narrative built around at least one local community member—farmers adapting to Iberian lynx corridors, divers restoring Mediterranean seagrass, teachers turning schoolyards into butterfly havens, and similar grassroots heroes.
Scope of work
• Research and interview (remote or on-site) a suitable local source to ground the story in authentic experience.
• Craft a 1,200- to 1,500-word Mandarin article in a smooth, engaging conversational style.
• Weave in verified conservation facts, current statistics, and policy context while keeping the spotlight on real-world action.
• Design a clear, data-driven infographic that reinforces the conservation angle—population trends, habitat range shifts, or project milestones.
• Provide royalty-free image recommendations or your own photos when available (optional but welcome).
Key focus
• Emphasize conservation efforts over pure scientific exposition.
• Keep the tone warm and personal, avoiding jargon yet remaining accurate.
• Highlight practical outcomes that readers can relate to or replicate.
Deliverables
1. Final Mandarin article (Word/Google Doc).
2. One high-resolution infographic (AI, SVG, or PNG + source file).
3. Short English abstract (100–150 words) for promotion.
4. References list for all data and quotes.
I’ll review the first draft within three days of receipt and provide consolidated feedback for one round of revisions. If you bring cultural insight, on-the-ground contacts, or prior conservation writing experience, let me know so we can line up a series of posts.
