1 Assignments: There are four individual assignments, each using different research methods:
◦ (a) Qualitative research (e.g., content analysis)
◦ (b) Observation study (observing a situation/phenomenon and recording facts and conclusions)
◦ (c) Experimental study (introducing a trigger agent and analyzing responses)
◦ (d) Questionnaire building (developing a survey instrument based on specific study objectives)

2 Final Project: The final project involves creating a single research instrument by combining one or more of the above methods, collecting data, and performing statistical analysis. The project should include regression analysis, ANOVA, or other statistical methods covered in class.
Key points:
• The assignments do not need to be overly complex. They can be short and simple but illustrate the application of each method.
• Any dataset that is appropriate to illustrate each analysis can be used.
• I have course materials available, including slides and books, to guide the process and provide background.
