Looking for someone experienced with FOIA request.
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a growing list of specific police incidents and I need the corresponding body-worn-camera footage pulled together for each one. Whenever I hand you an incident, your job is to track down the public-record request channel (FOIA portals, direct department contacts, or existing online repositories), secure the raw video file, and confirm its authenticity.
For any incident that doesn’t already come with a narrative, I’ll rely on you to attach a concise written report: who was involved, what happened, date and time stamps, and any notable actions captured on camera. Organise every case file by location so I can quickly filter by city, county, or agency later. Although my current list may touch on traffic stops, public disturbances, arrests and more, consider every category in scope.
Deliverables for each incident:
• The original body cam video (download link or physical file)
• A verification note showing the source and request ID
• A location-based report in PDF or DOCX summarising key moments, parties, and timeline
Accuracy and completeness are crucial; if a department denies or redacts footage, document the response. Let me know your typical turnaround per request and any previous experience handling public-records or open-data pulls.
