I'm looking for an experienced and fearless investigative journalist focused on human rights violations taking place locally. This project aims to shed light on the misconduct happening in our backyard, with policy makers being our primary audience.
Key responsibilities:
- Carry out in-depth investigations into local human rights violations for a particular case in Melbourne Australia. Which screams for change in criminal and childrens court history.
- Gather, corroborate and interpret findings to build a compelling narrative
- Communicate the hard truths tactfully, respecting the sensitivity of the issues
Ideal skills:
- Strong background in investigative journalism, particularly in human rights
- Proven ability to research and follow leads for stories
- Proficiency in creating radio content
- Excellent communication and storytelling skills
- Understanding of the local policy-making landscape
