I'm searching for skilled freelance journalists and photographers to develop compelling news reports, feature articles, and photo essays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce engaging news reports and feature articles on a variety of topics
- Capture and create insightful photo essays covering critical global events
Areas of Focus:
- Historically undercovered countries, regions, and communities namely Sudan, DRC, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Nigeria, Niger, Chad, the Sahel, Iraq, Yemen, and Libya
- A range of themes: politics, conflict and security, humanitarian challenges, human rights, environmental issues, health and science
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in journalism and photography
- Ability to cover a diverse array of global topics
- Excellent storytelling and visual communication skills
- Strong understanding of and ability to report on complex political events
- Experience in conflict zone reporting is a plus.
