Investigate Chinese RoHS Labeling Revision

The Chinese version of RoHS specifies requirements for product labeling, etc. in "Requirements for Labeling Restrictions on the Use of Hazardous Substances in Electronic and Electrical Products" (SJ/T 11364-2014), and a revised version, SJ/T 11364-2024, was published at the end of last year.

I would like you to briefly investigate what measures should be taken in response to this revision.

Product: Internal hard disk and external hard disk (HS Code 8471.70)

Specifically, please interview local authorities and certification companies to confirm the following points and report them on about one A4 page.

1) The comment column at the bottom of the table in the display example is different between SJ/T 11364 2014 and SJ/T 11364 2024. Should the notation be changed according to the display example in SJ/T11364 2024?

2) Is it possible to omit the title between "Table 1 xxxx" and the table in SJ/T 11364 2014 (in the example, "Name and content of hazardous substances in the product" between Table 1 "Name and content of hazardous substances" and the table) in SJ/T 11364 2024?

3) For external hard disk drives, is it necessary to display information similar to that in SJ/T 11364 2024 on the packaging box (presentation box) in which the product is packed? Or are there other laws and regulations that regulate the display on packaging boxes?

4) Content that is not included in SJ/T 11364 2014 has been added as "Note 2" in 2024, but does this mean that "For parts not listed above, the content of hazardous substances does not exceed the national standard requirements on the restriction of the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic products"?

5) Is it necessary to replace product labels for products that already display labels in accordance with SJ/T11364-2014?
