Insurance Case Law Research

Job ID: 40245560

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a concise research pack that pulls together leading Commonwealth—ideally UK—authorities on two very specific points of insurance law:

1. When and how courts have read implied terms into an insurance policy.
2. The insured’s duty to supply reliable, accurate information at the claims stage and the consequences of breaching that duty.

Any era of case law is acceptable, but please prioritise UK decisions; where a compelling authority comes from another Commonwealth jurisdiction, include it as well. Landmark rulings from the Court of Appeal, Supreme Court, or High Court will carry the most weight.

Deliverables (by the end of today):
• A list of relevant cases with full citations and court level.
• A short-paragraph summary for each case that clearly states the facts, the court’s reasoning on the targeted issue, and the key takeaway.

Please keep each summary tight, authoritative and written in plain English so I can quote or copy directly into a brief.
