Help finding scholarly/peer-reviewed journal articles from my schools online library
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Using the MEAL Plan system, you will: Find at least two (2) full-text, scholarly/peer-reviewed journal articles from Magale Library’s online database collections: EBSCOHost, Gale Databases, JSTOR, ProQuest Central, or ScienceDirect Database found on the Library’s webpage under “Popular Databases.” You may use any available citation tools found within the databases to format the journal article citations into your chosen writing style. HINT: Citation tools are usually located in the tools menu of the electronic article that you are using. You will need to find at least one (1) scholarly/peer-reviewed online video from Magale Library’s video database collections, either from Academic Video Online: Premium or Films on Demand found on the Library’s webpage under “Popular Databases.” Use these resources to support your thoughts in each of the following paragraphs making sure to correctly cite each resource. Using the MEAL Plan system, you will write three paragraphs.
Paragraph 1: Describe what periodicals are and how they are primarily found in research databases. Next, describe how professionals commonly use periodicals/databases to stay current with their profession. Cite and reference at least one of the required content videos or readings from Module 8.
Paragraph 2: Describe how/what people did in your chosen profession 100 or more years ago. Cite and reference at least one of the three required resources.
Paragraph 3: Describe how/what people did in your chosen profession 100 or more years ago compares to current practice (How are they similar?). Were society and the culture similar to what they are currently? Cite and reference at least one of the three required resources.
