Grant research for addiction recovery and for special education in US and Canada
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We need help looking for grants to support addiction recovery treatment centres and special education programs interested in implementing our program of sensory enrichment with their clients/students.
We have a grant writer. We are looking for someone who can find relevant grants for us to apply for, on an ongoing basis.
The benefits for addiction recovery are to improve
- The ability of the individual to deal with their impulses, and reduce substance-seeking and engagement in addictive behaviours;
- The experience of clients with their cravings and withdrawal symptoms, by reducing both their severity and their timeline;
- The quality of life of the individuals, especially to experience pleasure in response to natural stimuli;
You can find more information about our program of sensory enrichment
The benefits for special education are to improve:
- In the first few weeks, self-regulation, attention span and social skills, which relieves pressure very quickly on the whole school system.
- After a few months, cognitive skills, sleep, mood, behaviour, motor skills, food diversification and speech development.
