Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Grant Researcher and Submission Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough grant searches, completing federal registrations on platforms such as sam.gov, sbir.gov, sba.gov, and managing the entire grant submission process. Your expertise in navigating grant databases, researching funding opportunities, and ensuring compliance with federal regulations will play a crucial role in securing funding for our organization.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive grant searches using various online databases, government portals, and other resources to identify relevant funding opportunities.
• Monitor and stay updated on federal, state, and local grant programs, eligibility criteria, and submission deadlines.
• Evaluate grant requirements, guidelines, and application procedures to determine the organization's eligibility and feasibility.
• Complete federal registrations on platforms such as sam.gov, sbir.gov, sba.gov, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for the organization's profile.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including management, program directors, and finance teams, to gather necessary information and supporting documentation for grant applications.
• Prepare and compile grant application materials, including proposals, budgets, supporting documents, and required forms.
• Ensure compliance with all grant application requirements, including formatting, documentation, and submission deadlines.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to obtain letters of support, endorsements, or other necessary documents for grant applications.
• Submit grant applications electronically or by mail, following the prescribed submission process for each grant opportunity.
• Maintain a centralized grant tracking system to monitor the status of applications, track outcomes, and provide regular updates to the organization's leadership.
• Stay informed about industry trends, changes in grant regulations, and best practices in grant writing and submissions.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, nonprofit management, public administration, communications).
• Proven experience in grant research, grant writing, and managing grant submissions, preferably in a nonprofit or government organization.
• Strong understanding of federal grant programs, funding agencies, and regulations.
• Familiarity with grant databases, online portals, and resources for grant searches.
• Proficient in navigating and completing federal registrations on platforms such as sam.gov, sbir.gov, sba.gov.
• Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grant management software.
• Knowledge of budgeting and financial concepts related to grant applications is a plus.
• Familiarity with nonprofit or government funding processes and regulations is preferred.
